Claudine Kamar.
Born in Ashrafieh, Beirut, she studied at Ecole de la charité. Her childhood was full of challenges and fun, and fortunately she kept loads of great memories.
Since her teenage years, she was passionate about cartoons drawings and creative arts so she chose Graphic design as her major at university.
While still being a student, she has entered the advertising and design industry and has now years of experience in advertising, visual communication and design. She is ambitious and passionate about everything creative – especially art and illustration.
Following her passion, she created in 2008 a cartoon series for kids named "Tod w Aya" in Lebanese dialect for a local TV station. After getting married and having kids, parenting was a challenging task, therefore, she was inspired and ended up creating a new book concept named "Lets nena and Tito" ", with the collaboration of her childhood bestfriend, the psychologist and psychotherapist Carla Assaf. The book tackles daily life issues and real life stories for kids with parenting tips and explanation from the psychologist to better address and manage daily life issues, including coloring and drawing pages. She also created a fun page on insta: @claudinekamar full of funny relatable daily comics that reflect our daily struggle in a funny way.
For the future, she still has a dream to pursue, a book for teens but won’t reveal more about it for the time being.
In the end, she says she is very grateful for everything she has been through, grateful for her family and all the people who encouraged and helped her, and grateful for those who criticized her because they gave her a reason to fight for success.
