طلاّبنا وطالباتنا الأعزّاء،

نتمنّى أن تكونوا وعائِلاتكم بخير وعافية في هذه الأوقات الحَرجة. لقد وضع وباء كورونا عبئا إضافياً علينا جميعا، وبتنا سويّاً نواجه أوقاتا حرجة وأوضاعا صعبة. الشّيء المهمّ اليوم هو أن نلتزم منازلنا ونتّبع جميع إرشادات النظافة الصحيّة والعزل الاجتماعي.

إنّ همّنا الأوّل في الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية هو صحّتكم وسلامتكم. من أجل ذلك رجاءً لا تشغلوا أنفسكم بجدول مواعيد مدفوعات فصل الربيع في ظل إقفال المصارف وحثّ الحكومة الناس على ملازمة منازلهم. بمجرّد أن تعود الأمور الى طبيعتها سنتواصل معكم بما يتعلّق بهذا الموضوع. مرّة أخرى نؤكّد أننا سنكون الى جانبكم ومعكم في جميع الأوقات.

أخيراً، يجب أن يكون همّكم الوحيد الآن هو متابعة دروسكم عبر الإنترنت نحن نتفهّم أن هذه تجربة جديدة قد يتخلّلها بعض التحدّيات. نحن بجانبكم لمساعدتكم في هذه المرحلة المؤقّتة والتي لن تكون بالتأكيد بديلا عن الصفّوف العادية، لكنّها الطريقة المتوفّرة والأفضل في ظلّ تعليق الصفّوف.

ندعو الله أن تبقوا جميعا بأمان وبصحّة جيدة وأن نتخطّى قريبا هذه المرحلة لنلتقي بكم من جديد.

Dear Students,

We hope that you and your family are healthy and doing well during these uncertain times. The COVID-19 pandemic has put added pressure on all of us and we are now coping with difficult situations. The most important thing to remember here is to stay safe at home and follow all the protocols of hygiene and social distancing.

Our main concern at LIU is you and your wellbeing. For this, please do not worry about the Spring semester’s scheduled payments while banks are closed and the government is advising people to stay home. Once things go back to normal, we will be communicating with you in this regard. Remember, we will always be beside you in every situation.

Finally, with regards to your studies, your only concern now should be to follow your online classes. We understand that this is a new process that has some challenges. We are here to help you during this temporary period which is definitely not a substitute to regular classes, but it is the best available method while classes are suspended. We pray that all of you stay safe and healthy and that, soon, all together we will overcome this situation and be reunited.
